It is our distinct honor to have with us Meghan Clark, Family Advocate Coordinator at Denver’s Office of the Medical Examiner.

Meghan is a native of Colorado and recently started a new position with the Medical Examiner’s Office in Denver. Meghan has been hired to create a Family Advocate Program. The program does outreach to families who have had someone die by suicide, overdose, or child fatality. She also meets directly with any family who randomly comes into the Coroner’s office or who call in proactively. In addition, Meghan coordinates the Child Fatality Review Team for the City and County of Denver, which is responsible for reviewing all unnatural child deaths each year. From those reviews, she makes recommendations on prevention strategies. Recently Meghan was given the role of Administrative Supervisor, in addition to Family Advocate Coordinator.
